1. Governing Body

The governing body of the fire district consists of men and women who reside or have businesses located within the district. These members are appointed by the Beauregard Parish Police Jury. The purpose of this governing body is oversee the finances and the operations of the fire district.

2. District Chief

The district chief is appointed by the governing body and answers directly to them. The district chief is accountable for the overall operations and efficiency of the district. It is also a requirement of the district chief to assist the proper authorities with all investigations of arson in hopes of determining the cause, origin, and circumstances of all fires.

3. District Training Officer

The district training officer is appointed by the district chief and answers directly to him. The district training officer is accountable for all training of the district as well as its safety. When necessary the district training officer will coordinate with other districts either inside or outside of the parish to implement outside training.

4. Station Chiefs

Each station chief is appointed by the governing body and answers directly to the district chief. Each station chief is held accountable for their assigned fire station, personnel, and equipment only and shall take written and verbal reports as requested by the governing body.

5. Members

The membership of each station shall consist of able bodied citizens who reside within the limits of the fire district and have completed the application process.
